There are always questions before, during and after a project is complete.   • How long has Jordan Roof LA been in business?

    We’ve proudly served the Southland’s commercial, industrial, HOA, Multi-unit and Single Family Residential roofing needs since 1981.
  • Are building permits necessary and if so, am I responsible or is the roofing contractor?

    If a re-roofing project exceeds 20% or 1/5th of your building than yes, building permits are required, but Jordan Roof LA obtains all the necessary permits when required on any of our re-roofing projects
  • Are you insured?

    Yes, we carry a full line of insurance, workers compensation and liability insurance. We also provide proof of insurance with every roofing quote.
  • What about City Inspections?

    We will handle the city inspection performed while the job is in progress as well the Final Inspection upon completion.
  • Do you offer a warranty for the work you provide?

    Yes, all of our new roof installations are given a full warranty. Warranties can range from 2 years to 20 years based on the type of system installed. There is also a manufactures guarantee provided for your protection.
  • When you start a roofing job do you stay on the job until completion or are you like other contractors who start numerous jobs at the same time and are never around?

    Having multiple commercial, industrial and residential projects going on at the same time is completely normal in the roofing industry, but we have dedicated roofing crews and supervisors for each project and we always stay until the job is complete.
  • Do you have a roof safety program in place?

    Yes, we hold more worker safety meetings than we’re required to.
  • Do you provide free estimates?

    Absolutely! We offer free, no-obligation roofing inspections along with free detailed written repair and replacement estimates in writing if warranted. Contact us for your free estimate!
  • Can I have a new roof installed over an old one?

    Sometimes, yes. Although we usually suggest complete removal of the old roof so that we can locate damaged areas and repair them, instead of just covering up existing problems. This will also decrease the life span of your new roof in some cases by as much as 50%.
  • What happens to the debris and trash when you’re working on my roof?

    We handle all waste matter and personally remove it from your property. When we finish a job there will be no roofing debris remaining on site. In addition, we recycle the majority of the materials that we tear off of your roof.
  • How much experience do the installation crews have?

    All of our crews have years of experience. They have been thoroughly trained to install all products according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Will the work meet local code requirements in my area?

    Yes, Jordan Roof LA has extensive experience with local building codes. We will not do any work that does not meet code requirements.
  • Will the homeowner have to provide power and water?

    Yes. We require external power and water to be available each day.
  • Will the job be cleaned daily? Will Jordan Roof LA use a magnet for lost nails?

    Yes. Each of our job sites is cleaned during the roofing process and at the end of every workday. We go over your property with a magnetic hand sweeper daily.
  • Will Jordan Roof LA put down something to catch oil from work trucks in the driveway?

    Definitely. Your driveway will be protected.
  • Can Jordan Roof LA show locally completed jobs with the type of finished roofing materials that I want?

    Of course, just ask your project manager for some examples of your preferred roofing material and they’ll be happy to arrange for a viewing.
  • How long will it take to re-roof an average single family residence?

    Normally between one and two days, depending on the size of the home.
  • What happens if it rains while you’re installing the roof?

    We monitor the weather very closely and only remove what we can replace in the same day. We also carry tarps for any unexpected emergencies. When we leave at night, your roof is completely watertight
  • Is Jordan Roof LA a member in good standing in the Roofing Industry and do they have a reputation for good service, fair prices and quality installation?

  • Job site clean-up always seems to be an issue during the roofing process, but it’s seems worse once the job is completed. How does Jordan Roof LA deal with this issue?

    Clean-up is part of the roofing process and we take it very seriously.  All of our job sites are cleaned during the roofing process and at the end of every workday.  As an added value, we also scan your property for nails, tacks and metal shards with a powerful hand held magnetic sweeper at the end of every day...
  • Do you install roofs year round?

    Absolutely, we’re available to install or repair your roof any time of year as long as the weather permits.
  • What kind of warranties do you provide?

  • Do I need to be at home while you install my roof?

    No, we simply need access to outside power and water.
